Project # 10

An amazing array of patterns and bold colours, this blanket really had the look of a stained glass window.
It was delivered to our recipient in the last few weeks of her life here on this earth. As you are probably all aware, she was so thankful for the thoughts and prayers that went into it.

Thankyou to everyone who participated in this project in the way of squares, joining and finishing off.

Project 9

A stunning blanket completed back in August.
Delivered to a very special family, to let them know that our prayers and thoughts are still with them 1 year after their precious son/brother went to be with the Lord.

I am able to send out this message of many thanks from the family for our love, thought, prayers that came with this blanket, as is was greatly appreciated!
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped out in the joining and finishing off.

Project 8 completed

Thankyou to everyone who participated in the most recent project. The pattern did prove to be quite the challenge for some, too much for others, and although this resulted in a smaller blanket than originally planned, we are still so pleased with how it turned out! And it still is a very decent sized throw, we hope that our recipient gets plenty of use out of it in the chilly months to come.
Special thanks to the ladies who participated in the joining process, it came together quite quick in the end.

A simple granny stitch border was added, and picot was considered, but then decided against as I didn't want it to look 'frilly'.

Here are some pictures of the finished project, I think I managed to pick the gloomiest day of the whole week to take these photos, I do apologise!
