More squares, and a look at the layout

Well hello everyone! I do feel a bit sorry for you all, I have a beautiful arrangement of squares on my living room floor, and you do not have the pleasure of looking at them all day long as I can! ;) So to rectify this situation Ive taken a photo and it is at the end of this post.

This post must begin though, with all the remaining incoming squares. There is one still coming, so we must be patient for a little while longer, thankyou to my Mum (Sue) for volunteering to make the last flower square with such late notice!

I have had a few offers for helpers to assemble this gorgeous blanket, but if you'd like to join in please send an email! We will try and organise one get together and then the helpers can finish off their own sections at home in their own time. We are aiming to get this blanket to our recipient at the end of next week.

And here it is!!! Every time I walk past it I have been critically anylising the layout, moving a few squares about and then I leave it. What do you think of this layout? The print-out of the pattern is positioned where the last square will go.

 

So that is all for now, but an assembly update will be here before long!

We are coming along nicely now, half way through the second week of crocheting. Thankyou to all the lovely contributions! They all look fantastic! Have a look for yourself...

Project #4 beginnings

A hearty welcome to everyone, after such a long break. Squares with Prayers is back!! We are currently half way through the fortnight designated to square making! And a few contributions are already coming in. And as is the tradition, I have photographed them to keep this blog updated. Here is the colour theme for the current project:
